Educating and mentoring others has always been a big part of my life. My mom ran a daycare at our house and that always gave me a chance to interact with children of all ages. It gave me the opportunity to get to know people and understand their backgrounds and the experiences they’ve had in life. This allowed me to gain an appreciation for everyone. These skills have carried over to the realm of education and have really helped me to establish positive relationships with all my students and colleagues.
