I have been working at OLW since 1989 at the Extended Daycare program, and as a fourth grade teacher since 1994. Both my father (Michael Heffernan) and grandmother (Rosemary Heffernan) taught fourth grade here at OLW.
I have an elementary education degree from Loyola University, Chicago; and a psychology degree from Mundelein College. I have recently completed a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with a special focus on children and family at Roosevelt University.
I really enjoy working with children, and feel blessed to have spent so much time at OLW.
