Social Studies:
Social studies is an understanding of the culture, economic, geographic and political aspects of past, current and future societies.  This year, in sixth grade, we will seek to understand and appreciate the beginnings of Western Civilizations and the geography and history of Europe, Asia and Africa.  For information on sixth grade social studies click here.

Reading:
Reading is a literature based program that encourages students to become better readers, thinkers and communicators through core works of fine literature.  The series provides skill development in the areas of comprehension, analysis, vocabulary, writing, and critical thinking.  For information on seventh grade reading classes click here.
