WELCOME TO MRS. Brittain’s FIRST GRADE

 

 

This is my 7th year at OLW, 16th year teaching first grade. I've also taught all day kindergarten, first/second combined class, and the third grade, as well as many years of subbing and tutoring. I do love first!

I received my Associate of Science from Triton College in Early Childhood Education and plus I have aquired my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Arizona State University, plus I have aquired 15 hours of educational graduate courses. I've lived in Algonquin for eight years with my husband Bob, my daughter Kristin (a Senior) and my son Adam (a Sophomore). We also have a 6 year old Boxer/Beagle named Ruby. Before living in Algonquin we lived in Belevidere, Roselle, and my husband and I lived in Dallas, Texas. I am really glad to be living here in Illinois. I am also bi-lingual in Polish and happy to be part of O.L.W.
