Bob graduated from DePaul University in 1968. He has been teaching at Our Lady of the Wayside for 39 years. Bob teaches Science to the 7th and 8th grade middle school students. The seventh grade program, "Life Science" prepares students for Biology at the high school level. The seventh grade students are also required to prepare a science fair where the best projects are sent to the state fair at The University of Illinois. The eighth grade is taught an advanced program "IPS" or "Introductory Physical Science" which prepares the students for Chemistry at the high school level. IPS is a lab oriented program which enables the student to learn through 50% lab experimentation throughout the year.

Bob has been an active coach for the past 29 years. Over his tenure he has coached 7th and 8th grade boys and girls volleyball teams, 8th grade girls basketball team, and 8th grade girls softball team. Bob has been the assistant coach for the St. Viator girls Varsity basketball team and the head coach for the Scared Heart of Mary/St. Viator girl's varsity volleyball team. Bob was recently inducted into the Sacred Heart of Mary/St. Viator athletic Hall of Fame for his service and coaching efforts throughout his career. Bob is the Athletic Director for OLW.

Bob has had the honor to have been chosen to the "Who's Who Among Teachers" where he was nominated by former students. He resides in Arlington Heights with his wife Patsy and two Boston terriers Bugs and Taz.
