Welcome!!
The goal of the fifth grade program is to help develop leadership and interpersonal skills, provide academic challenges in all curriculum areas, as well as foster spirituality and community to insure a successful transition from elementary school to middle school.
Fifth Grade Math
The Glencoe-McGraw Math Connects provides students with ongoing opportunities to apply their math skills and solve problems using visual thinking, logical reasoning, number sense, and algebra. This new series will help our fifth graders integrate into the middle school math program. This vertical content alignment is a process that ensures our students will experience an articulated, coherent sequence of content from grade level to grade level. This provides us with assurance that content is introduced, reinforced, and assessed at appropriate times in the series, eliminating gaps and unnecessary duplication.
