I was born in Washington, D.C., and from there our family moved to Buffalo, New York, St. Louis, Missouri, Barrington, and finally to Arlington Heights, Illinois. I graduated from Our Lady of the Wayside grade school and Sacred Heart of Mary High School.

Tex (for Texas)is my dog.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from the College of St. Teresa in Winona, Minnesota. My first eight years of teaching were in Woodstock, Illinois. After searching out schools through observations of classes, I was impressed at what was happening at Wayside. For several years I waited for an opening. When John Lee was promoted to Assistant Principal, and a position opened up, I dove for it. I have been here since 79-80. I love teaching junior high students!

This year I teach Sixth, Seventh, and Eight Grade Mathematics seventh grade Reading and Religion.
