Important Notes!!!!!!

 

 

ATTENTION BEGINNING, CONCERT & HONOR BAND STUDENTS:
MEMORIAL DAY PARADEPRACTICE SCHEDULE ~ ALL students that will be participating are required to attend these practices.
      Thursday, May 14th - 7:15am
      Friday, May 15th - 7:15am
      Wednesday, May 20th - 7:15am
      Thursday, May 21st - 7:15am
      Friday, May 22nd - 7:15am

MEMORIAL DAY PARARDE INSTRUCTIONS

Band students who are marching should arrive at STATION #  40
ALONG SIGWALT/DAVIS STREET (EAST OF ARLINGTON HTS RD ) at 9:00 A.M. (no later) !
We need to get organized before the parade begins.
PARADE ATTIRE: Please wear Khaki pants/capris, your blue band shirt and gym shoes. NO SHORTS.
If the weather is cold please wear a long-sleeved white t-shirt under your blue band shirt.

PARENTS: Please meet/pick up your child at the end of the parade route (Memorial Park). The band will not be staying for the ceremony after the parade, so please be there early to meet your child.
LOOK FOR THE BLUE AND WHITE WAYSIDE UMBRELLAS.
PARADE CHAPERONES: Please arrive at the same time as your child. The chaperones are:
Rasche, Walters, Trunk, Vivit,  McDonnell, Hundt, Suhanek, Cleary, Czulno(wagon)

 

MORNING BAND PRACTICE ~ IN THE GYM !
Beginning on Wednesday, January 14th, all morning band practices will be held in the GYM! Students should enter the gym through the Ridge Street entrance only. All other doors are locked. The door is opened at 7:00 A.M. so the band students can enter and get prepared and be READY to begin practice at 7:15 A.M. Thank you for your consideration to this matter.

 
Beginner Band
Wednesday morning full band practice (7:15). Band practice will be in the Gym in the Middle School Building. lease enter through the Ridge St. door.

Concert Band
Thursday morning full band practices ( 7:15am) . Band practice will be in Gym in the Middle School building. Please enter through the Ridge St. door.

Honor Band
Friday morning full band practices ( 7:15am). Band practice will be in the Gym in the Middle School building. Please enter through the Ridge St. door.

This Year:
Mr. Musial has given his approval for all band members to wear their Blue Band Shirt along with the regular uniform pants/shorts to school on the day of the band concert.
SHOW YOUR PRIDE IN BEING A MEMBER OF THE WAYSIDE BAND!!!!!!!!!!!

Reeds-
 Reeds for clarinets and saxophones will be available to purchase in the school store on Tuesday mornings from 8:00-9:00AM. This is a convenient and inexpensive way for band students to keep up their musical instruments in tip-top shape! The reeds cost $1.75 each.
