VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Faculty Thank You Luncheon Captain-(8th grade only); Eighth grade video captains; Dare Reception Captain (6th grade parents only); Kindergarten Graduation Reception Captains (2 needed); Milk Captain; Cotillion Captain (8th grade parents only); Ice Cream Social Captain
The FSA is already looking for volunteer Captain Positions for the 2008-2009 School Year! You can refer to the directory to get a good description of all the following positions, and please feel free to call the current Captain to get details. Come on in - join the fun! We love having new people help out and get involved with OLW School!
The following are the current positions available which will be filled on a first volunteer, first to be filled guarantee:
Co-chair captain for Auction Co-Chairperson and
Co-captains for the Sock Hop!
If you are interested in any of the positions, please call Kathy Virlas at 847-670-7776 or any current FSA Board Member. Some of the positions will require the "Protecting God's Children Program" and other Virtus training required by the archdiocese. There will be marked on the volunteer sheet in the Spring Mailer. OLW UNIFORM EXCHANGE:
Items will again be on display starting Monday, November 17th and continue to be out during parent teacher conferences on November 24th and 25th. Items can continue to be dropped off throughout the year in the special drop off box located outside the school office. SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR:
We are currently looking for people to run next school year's book fair. This wonderful fundraiser is lots of fun and raises a great deal of money. If you would like to come on board for next year's book fair, you will be able to receive valuable on the job training with the current team as they plan this year's event. THE SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR will once again sell gift certificates during Parent/Teacher conferences. These certificates, in any denomination, make great stocking stuffers and are ideal gifts for kids, parents, family members, teachers, scout leaders, and babysitters. They can also be stuffed into birthday or holiday gift bags or grab bags. They can be redeemed during OLW's Schoalstic Book Fair (held during Catholic Schools Week).
